What you’ll cover
An intensive hands-on workshop focusing on scissor-over-comb, club cutting and point cutting. Trainees practise on training heads and live models to master sectioning, weight distribution, tapering and finishing, with an emphasis on ergonomics and proper tool handling. Ideal for barbers or stylists wanting to refine their precision cutting.
Our Precision Scissor Cutting & Shape Workshop goes beyond a standard lesson — it’s an immersive, hands-on experience. You’ll join us at our Essex studio or we can come to you, where our educator will demonstrate advanced scissor-over-comb techniques, shape building and texturising on live models. Once you’ve watched, it’s your turn: we provide the models (if you come to our studio), tools and one-to-one guidance so you can practise each method yourself.
The session blends observation and practical exercises, ensuring you leave with the confidence to execute precision cuts in your own work. At the end of the day you’ll receive a certificate of attendance along with a downloadable theory guide via email, summarising the key techniques and concepts covered.
